Humans will get used to living 150 years or more

I’m sure that the continuing advances in medical biotech will enable individual human beings to live 150 years or more, and I’m convinced that humans will get used to living 150 years or more, at first on Earth, and then eventually in outer space.

200 years ago, the average global human life expectancy was 35 years old; the past 200 years of the medical biotech advances lengthened the average human lifespan by several decades; I believe that trend will continue.

Humans in general want more life; I’m certain that the fundamental human desire of wanting more healthy and youthful life will be realized via the advances in human body biotech.

When most people lived only until 35 years of age, they couldn’t imagine what to do with 50 more years of life.

Current humans cannot imagine what to do with their lives when they live until 150 years of age or more. When humans actually live that long, they’ll know.

My bet is that the additional human lifespan enabled by human longevity biotech will be spent in outer space, not on Earth.

I’ve no doubt that humanity will become an outer-space expanding species with very long individual human lifespans. I make my own contributions to building that future of humanity.

Individual human beings living for centuries or more, especially in outer space, feels very right to me. So, I’ll keep on doing my part in bringing that human reality.
